The main plot hole that was borderline embarrassing: Harry's butler revealing to Harry after something like five years that Peter/Spider-Man didn't kill his father. Couldn't he have mentioned this before, you know while he was preparing one of the many hundreds of meals he made for Harry over those five years? Or maybe while he watched Harry build the equipment and costume he would wear when taking revenge on Peter. Did the butler have amnesia, too?

Well Kurt, you make a valid point about the butler failing to tell Harry anything about his fathers death and there by would have prevented the destruction of Peter and Harry's relationship.
However does the butler need to tell Harry this? Harry should already know. We live in an age where if someone is murdered, there is an autopsy in which people find out what and who killed the person. It should have been mentioned in the movie that Mr. Osborn/Green Goblin was found to have been stabbed in the autopsy report and therefore, Spiderman could not have killed him. With the press covering a notable figure like Mr. Osborn, it should have been on every paper saying how and what he died by.
But then again, we also dont live in an age where Kirsten Dunst can sing where and whenever she pleases.
